Report of the 1st European Cadaver Disection Course organized by the Young Confederation

The first edition of the European Cadaver Dissection Course under the patronage of the CEORL-HNS took place in Cremona from 23 to 28 November 2025, marking an important milestone in the Confederation’s educational commitment. 

The course was led by Presidents Jan Plzák, Per Cayé-Thomasen, with the Scientific Secretariat coordinated by Vittorio Rampinelli, Daniele Borsetto, Pietro Canzi, and Sarah Atallah, representing the Young Confederation. The program offered a comprehensive hands-on training experience across head and neck, sinonasal, and otologic surgery.

The event was fully booked and brought together 40 participants from Belgium, Czech Republic, Croatia, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Switzerland, UK and Scotland, fostering a truly collaborative international environment. The friendly atmosphere, strong engagement, and high-quality guidance provided by the high level international faculty were reflected in the excellent feedback received from attendees.

This successful inaugural edition joins the other educational projects of the CEORL-HNS, further strengthening the Confederation’s commitment to advancing surgical training and cross-border collaboration across Europe.
