External carotid artery blowout management survey

The Young-CEORL Head and Neck Subspecialty Group is promoting a scientific survey focused on the management of external carotid artery blowouts in the setting of head and neck cancer patients. The management of this severe condition is highly variable between centres. As there is a lack of recommendation and studies with a high level of evidence, the management is often not evidence-based but rather consensus-based and/or adapted to local resources.
The aim of this survey is to investigate current practice patterns, in order to collect representative data at an international level.

Management of the cN0 neck in sinonasal malignancies. European survey

The Young-CEORL Head and Neck Subspecialty Group is promoting a scientific survey focused on neck management in cN0 (clinically node-negative) sinonasal malignancies.
Management of the clinically negative neck in sinonasal malignancies remains a matter of ongoing debate, with considerable variation in practice regarding elective neck treatment and indications across institutions and countries.
The aim of this survey is to investigate current practice patterns among head and neck / ENT surgeons regarding the management of the cN0 neck in sinonasal malignancies, in order to collect representative data at an international level. The results will help clarify current clinical practice and may serve as the basis for future consensus recommendations and a subsequent scientific publication.

ENT communication strategies in the age of social media and AI technologies

The Young Otolaryngologists Group of the Italian Society of Otolaryngology (GOS) is promoting a scientific survey focused on digital communication and artificial intelligence in otolaryngology.
Digital technologies, social media, and artificial intelligence tools are increasingly influencing the way we communicate, keep updated, and perform our clinical practice within the field of otolaryngology, offering new opportunities while also posing relevant challenges in daily professional activity.
The aim of this survey is to investigate how ENT specialists and ENT residents use these tools, which benefits they perceive, and which critical issues they encounter, in order to collect representative data at both national and international levels. The results of the survey will be presented at the next National Congress of the Italian Society of Otolaryngology and will serve as the basis for a subsequent scientific publication.
